Marg Kronfeld - The Ever Increasing Importance of Tourism

Marg Kronfeld is a woman with many interests, including business development and growth, politics, staff development and even tourism. The role of tourism in the economic world is extremely important, and that statement was probably never as true as it is these days.

Despite All, Tourism Thrives

When we are looking at the world, we can see many problems that hamper tourism. Wars, political instability, natural disasters, viruses popping up in new environments, and the list could go on and on. Despite all that, the tourism service actually blossomed since the early 1970’s, making new records almost every year. Just in 2012, international tourism surpassed $1 trillion.

Many Countries Promote Tourism
While in past Japan and the US didn’t exactly do much to lure tourists into their country, this is not the case anymore. Just recently, both of them eased somewhat their VISA policies to promote tourism, a clear-tell sign of wanting to have a bigger slice of the global pie.

Slow Economies Need Tourism
Economies that are struggling for some reason can benefit from tourism. Tourism can create jobs in many different sectors, and brings in much needed revenue.

Traveling Is Still Not Cheap, but It’s Getting Cheaper

Traveling is costly, but it’s on its way to becoming more affordable, especially international travel. With the travel barriers of the past are falling one by one – both in the context of politics and transportation – the industry can continue to prosper.

Marg Kronfeld is an avid traveler who fully understands just how crucial tourism is for the global economy.

Marg Kronfeld - Health Benefits of Skiing

Marg Kronfeld is an avid skier who likes to explore new slopes from time to time. She pursues the sport for two main reasons. For starters, it is an extremely fun activity that can be enjoyed by a wide variety of people, regardless of sex, age and skill level. In addition to this, skiing is good for one’s health.

Bone and Joint Health

Skiing requires the body to move in ways that promote a lot of natural movements. The bending of the knees, the leaning, the direction changes, they all promote the goal of having a better looking and healthier body. When the bones and joints are under pressure, they react by getting stronger. Some forms of exercising are known for their effect of strengthening the bones, muscles and joints, and skiing is definitely one of them.

Cardiovascular Exercise

People who don’t ski often think that it doesn’t require too much endurance. The lift takes skiers to their position, and from that point they only have to rely on the power of gravity, right? Wrong. Skiing is actually a very demanding exercise from a cardiovascular standpoint. As an aerobic, endurance exercise that demands quite a lot from every individual, skiing is one of the healthiest and most effective forms of movement.

Balance and Core Strength

Where skiing trumps almost any other sport barring targeted resistance training, is its ability to strengthen the core muscles and therefore improve the balance. People who ski constantly have to work hard to maintain their balance, using all the little fibers that are responsible for keeping them in check, including the core muscles.

Marg Kronfeld enjoys skiing and has quite a bit of experience on steeper slopes as well.

Marg Kronfeld - How to Start Living a Healthier Life

Marg Kronfeld is a physically active company director and businesswoman who coaches netball and loves skiing. Eating healthy and exercising are very important for her, as are regular checkups and mental disciplines such as relaxation or yoga, which is part physical, part spiritual.

Start with a Clean Slate
Those who want to change their life and follow a healthier path first must assess the damage that has been done. Very few people like to go to the doctor, but before one would start a new physical and dietary routine, it is a very good idea to check everything else first. After a dentist and a doctor appointment, the next step is to measure ourselves. At the very least, one’s girth and weight should be recorder, but those who really want to take it to another level, can actually measure their body fat percentage as well.

Going Over One’s Physical Activities
Do you exercise? How active are you throughout the day? It’s important to answer these questions truthfully, and if the answer is a resounding “no,” or even “not much,” a new training regimen is probably long due.

Diet
No health revolution can be successful without a dietary change, and there is a good reason for that. Those who have their diet checked both from a quality and quantity angle, rarely need a health revolution. Caloric and carb restriction and an increase in fruit and vegetable consumption are usually very efficient first steps.

Marg Kronfeld is a health-conscious professional who regularly exercises and rarely eats processed foods.

Marg Kronfeld - The Importance of Staff Development

Marg Kronfeld is a company director who knows just how important it is to have a capable staff whose members are on the same page. Any company that enjoys the benefits of proper team effort and a positive work environment can achieve great things, and staff development plays a big part in that. Training offers numerous benefits, but most of all it expands the collective knowledge of the company’s employees. The end goal is always to make the company better as a whole.
Don’t Ignore Weaknesses
There are no perfect employees. Every professional, no matter how good they are at what they do, has one or more qualities that they could work on. When we are talking about workplace skills, that’s even more prevalent. The right development program can help company leaders identify and address those weaknesses, with the result that the whole team gets better for it. Another positive outcome is identifying those who require help to finish even the most basic tasks. If there are such employees in your company, a development program helps you identify them.
Trained Employees Perform Better
Those who receive training usually get better at their job, becoming more productive and accomplishing their tasks faster -- it is really that simple. Once they are able to perform certain tasks at a higher level, their confidence level goes up, which is another aspect of training that the company can benefit from. Confident workers are more creative, and creative people usually have the courage to think outside the box and come up with ideas that they otherwise would not have thought of.
In any case, training helps the company’s leaders create a work environment where employees have a better understanding of what is expected of them, and thanks to their improved skills, they become better at accomplishing those goals.
Better Consistency and Happier Employees
A structured development program helps employees build a consistent base of knowledge they can rely on. These initiatives are also excellent for reinforcing the company goals and the expectations the leadership has of their employees. The same employees – when they get access to training – get a reaffirmation that the company uses its resources to develop their professional skills, which means that they are valuable employees. When trained employees face challenges where they can prove themselves, they are more likely to be satisfied with their roles and functions, as well as their place within the company’s professional hierarchy.
Marg Kronfeld had her fair share of company trainings throughout the years, and as a natural born leader, she always made sure that everybody understood why the training took place, what they hoped to accomplish with it, and how her colleagues could benefit from the experience.

Marg Kronfeld - How to Be Successful in a Leadership Position

Marg Kronfeld has worked in a number of leadership positions throughout her career, and she is currently serving as the Company Director for BK Enterprises. She has worked with the company since 2008, and she has served in the same position for other companies as well. She understands what it takes to be a business leader. Here are some tips for other professionals in leadership positions.

In order to be successful in a leadership position, you need to be able to trust your employees. Leaders or managers who don’t trust their employees to do their daily tasks tend to micromanage, which only proves to slow productivity as a whole. Make yourself available to your employees when they have issues or concerns, and make sure they are staying on task throughout the week, but don’t overdo it.

Successful leaders also take the time to plan for the future. Develop a business plan that will project you or your company’s success over the long and short-term futures. You can also help your employees plan for the future by going over their options later on down their career paths. If you want to lead successfully, you need to keep the future in the back of your mind at all times.

Leaders should be compassionate as well. Don’t get overly mad at your employees for making mistakes; simply look at every mistake as a learning experience to grow from. This tells your employees that you care about their work, and that you’re approachable as a manager.

Marg Kronfeld has been in leadership positions for several companies throughout her career, and she understands the difficulty.

Marg Kronfeld - Useful Exercises to Help You Lose Weight

Marg Kronfeld is the Company Director for BK Enterprises, and she has been serving in the position since 2008. She is dedicated to her career, and to running the daily operations of the business, including the management of thirty-six staff members. In addition to her career, she is also committed to her overall health. Here are some useful exercises to help you lose weight and get in shape.

Running is one of the most beneficial exercises you can perform if you’re trying to lose weight. Although it can be demanding on the body, if you run with proper form, you can do it well into old age and you’ll get the results you’re after. Running does wonders for your cardiovascular health, as well as your endurance overall. Your body will shed fat in order to make running easier on your body as a whole.

Swimming is another great exercise to practice, especially if you’re trying to avoid the stress that activities that running can have on your joints. Swimming is another workout that will focus on your cardiovascular health and endurance, but the water will act as a cushion that protects the body. It will also add resistance so that your upper body gets a workout too.

Hiking is another great exercise to practice. It’s much tougher than simply going for a walk, and typically it consists of harsher terrain, steep up hills, and quad burning down hills. It will get you the results you need if you’re consistent in your practice.

Marg Kronfeld enjoys being able to get outside, stay healthy, and being active when she has the time.

Marg Kronfeld - Common Mistakes Made During Project Management

Marg Kronfeld is dedicated to her career, and to growing within the automotive industry of Auckland, New Zealand. She is currently serving as the Company Director for BK Enterprises, which is a company finances, sells, and services Renault, Isuzu, and Hyundai vehicles. She began working for the company in 2008, and since she took the position of Company Director, the business has grown immensely in the last decade. She has served in company director positions for several companies prior to BK Enterprises, including a company that operated in the real estate industry. She plans to continue her growth professionally as much as possible.

As the Company Director for BK Enterprises, part of Marg Kronfeld’s responsibilities include managing major projects for the company. This means being responsible for the project itself, the staff members and employees working on the project, and the budget for the project as well. Being a project manager is no easy task, but it’s essential for businesses to find the right professionals to do the job. Here are some common mistakes made during project management.

Poor communication between managers, employees, and even the clients. During the completion of a project, you need to have direct lines of communication to everyone involved so that you know where the project stands in the present moment. This means talking to the client as well because their interest in the completion of the project will be the highest. Don’t guess what stage a particular project is in; communication with your team members and everyone else involved so you know exactly what’s going on and when.

Not paying attention to the budget. Some project managers tend to get carried away with their vision for the completed product, but if it’s not within budget, the project will never get approval. Pay attention to the budge you’ve been allotted for the project, and keep track of what money gets spent where. Paying attention to the budget will allow you to see where money is needed, and where you don’t need as much.

Letting your management style relax. Another problem that project managers tend to have is that they trust their team too much. Don’t let your projects go unmanaged simply because you trust your employees to do their jobs. Even if that’s the case, you need to be making sure that people are doing what they need to be doing, and when. If for some reason the project doesn’t get finished, it will be you who’s responsible, not your employees.

Marg Kronfeld has been managing major projects for companies for many years, and she has the experience necessary to be successful. She never lets her projects go unmanaged, she always communicates with those involved, and she keeps complete control over the budget. She has been serving BK Enterprises well throughout their project management needs.
